Description

Nomex is a man made fabric, produced by DuPont and has very good fireproof properties. It is used in Motor Racing and Jet Pilot garments for this very reason. The flame retardant properties of this fabric are not due to treating, but are characteristics of the material itself, meaning no matter how old the garment is, it still retains its effectiveness with almost no deterioration. The Arc Flash Hood/Faceshield is available as part of the Arc Flash Suit or individually. Arc Flash Suits are designed by experts to be effective, yet easy to put on over everyday workwear
